One of the properties of a magnetic field is that it has a therapeutic effect even if it is used on some kind of substance since it is able to penetrate. If you are unwilling to take off, it is okay to apply treatment over clothes.

TMS treatment is still being studied a lot. Although the treatment protocol for depression is proven enough to get US FDA clearance, the protocol for Tourette's disorder headache, etc., is still being studied. However, it is summarized in the protocol currently used in clinical practice.

The magnetic field strength decreases as it moves away from the transducer. You can proceed with the treatment with the transducer attached to the skin without any gaps.

Usually, in mid-to-large hospitals, brain abnormalities such as cerebral hemorrhage or cerebral infarction can be judged in advance, but in small or private hospitals, such findings can only be heard from the patient himself. Therefore, if there is an abnormality in the brain, TMS treatment is not recommended.
